 About My Studio:

Karin teaches violin and viola students from beginners to advanced players. She believes in nurturing the whole student to become more thoughtful and independent, working to enrich lives and intellect through music. Current and former students include recent competition winners, concertmasters and principal players in local youth orchestras, and All-State orchestra participants.

Kelleher Violin Studio generally accepts beginner to advanced students that are 7 years and older, with exceptions for younger students who are already established and ready for the next step.  Private lessons, chamber music coaching, master classes, audition prep, and performance opportunities are offered.

Careful one-on-one instruction is  tailored to each student's needs, and detailed notes are provided for home practice. Violin and viola lessons are offered in-person or online.  Group lessons  are included. Topics include music theory, vibrato, bow strokes, and shifting. Performance classes offer opportunities to play for peers and work in ensembles. There is at least one studio recital each semester.
